MoneyMind AI ("we", "us") provides a personal finance application. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have over it. We operate from North Carolina, USA.

1. Information we collect

• Account data: your name, email address, and phone number (optional).
• Financial data: the transactions, expenses, categories, and savings goals you record.
• Content you submit: messages to Maya (your AI coach) and receipt images you upload.
• Device information: browser type, operating system, and basic usage data.

2. How we use your information

• To provide the service: track expenses, generate insights, and respond through Maya.
• To improve the app and build new features.
• To send service-related emails (welcome, password reset, trial reminders, and billing notices). You can turn off non-essential emails in your profile.

3. We do not sell your data

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.

4. Third-party services

We share data only with the providers needed to operate:

• Anthropic AI — processes your messages and receipt images to power AI features.
• Stripe — securely processes subscription payments. We never store your card details.
• Railway — hosts the application and database.

5. Data retention

We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, your personal information is anonymized immediately and permanently deleted within 30 days.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, and delete your information. You can export all of your data or delete your account at any time from your profile.

7. Security

Passwords are stored hashed (bcrypt) and connections are encrypted. No system is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.
